Public Works

The Public Works Department for the City is organized into two (2) internal departments; Operations and Engineering and Environmental Services.

 Public Works Operations Division is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the municipal road system, water distribution systems, sanitary collection systems and the storm water management system.

 The Public Works Engineering and Environmental Services Division is responsible for oversight of the treatment of water and sanitary by the municipalities operating authority the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA).
