Official Plan
The Official Plan is a document that guides the development of the municipality in terms of land use and ways in which development can occur to sustain the dynamic and diverse economy while protecting the environment and heritage.
Presently, the newly amalgamated City is operating using the Official Plans adopted by the three former municipalities within their respective areas of the City. A new Official Plan will be prepared for the City following the adoption of the Draft Community Profile as listed below.
Questions regarding the Official Plan policies can be directed to Karen Beauchamp, Director of Community Growth and Planning.

In 2008, The City of Temiskaming Shores started the process of creating the first Official Plan for the newly amalgamated City.
