INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING
The Temiskaming Shores area of Dymond Township has two areas in which industry is actively being encouraged. One area bordered by Highway No. 65 West and the O.N.T.C. railway system is owned by private individuals. There is still about 100 acres that could be developed in this area.

In 1983, Dymond Township purchased approximately 90 acres in Lot 6, Concession 1 adjacent to Highway No. 11. A short road and reference plan made 5 lots available for potential industries.

After much discussion, in 1988 Council decided to provide a nominal water supply. Apparently this was the trip mechanism that created the interest by entrepreneurs to consider our park.

We are pleased to advise that in the past three years we have constructed almost ½ mile of road to make 24 lots available for development. During this time we have sold 18 lots for the development of 13 new businesses with an anticipated 52,000 sq. ft. of total floor space.

INDUSTRIAL SERVICES
Ontario Hydro's 3 phase 550 volt service is available.
Natural Gas is installed as required.
At present, water is supplied to the industries to meet light user needs maximum 10,000 g.p.d.
Dymond has adequately met the challenge of providing fire fighting equipment and trained firefighters to meet the demands of its large commercial properties. In areas where hydrant protection is not available, Dymond supplies tank trucks with a capacity to transport in excess of 32,000 L.p.hr. In the event of a major fire this could be doubled through the mutual aid system with surrounding municipalities.
And of course, the property is very accessible to Highway No. 11 transportation.

New Liskeard has two fully serviced Industrial Parks that have lots still available.
