(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) With the Province of Ontario’s return to Step Two of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen on Wednesday January 5, 2022 the City of Temiskaming Shores is required to modify public service offerings.

City Hall will continue to remain open for in-person services. Wherever possible, the City recommends contact-less options through the municipality's website.

All essential services including roads, fire and transit will continue to operate.

As of Wednesday January 5, 2022, at 12:01am the following services will be modified:

  • City of Temiskaming Shores Public Library will continue to remain OPEN at a reduced capacity
  • Waterfront Pool and Fitness Centre will be CLOSED until at least January 27th
  • Municipal Arenas will be CLOSED until at least January 27th
  • Municipal Halls and Event Spaces will be CLOSED until at least January 27th
  • All Age Friendly Programming is SUSPENDED until at least January 27th

Because of the closure of the PFC, swimming lesson registration slated to take place on January 5th has been canceled and all active memberships will be paused for the duration of the closure. Anyone with a facility booking that is affected by the closures will be contacted directly by City staff.
