COVID-19 Update: Modification to City Services during return to Step Two

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) With the Province of Ontario’s return to Step Two of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen on Wednesday January 5, 2022 the City of Temiskaming Shores is required to modify public service offerings.
City Hall will continue to remain open for in-person services. Wherever possible, the City recommends contact-less options through the municipality's website.
All essential services including roads, fire and transit will continue to operate.

City of Temiskaming Shores Council passed By-Law no. 2021-139 being a by-law to adopt a Recreation Facilities Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Policy at its regular meeting on September 21, 2021. The policy builds upon Ontario Regulation 364/20 which requires those who enter our recreation and hall facilities to show proof of vaccination.

With the District of Timiskaming now in the Red “Control” zone of the Province’s reopening framework we have some recreation service updates to announce.
City arenas have been closed for the season as of today. Many thanks to our local user groups who persevered throughout the 2020-2021 season to allow some semblance of normal to take place this past winter. All future bookings have been canceled and full refunds will be provided.
