The Temiskaming Shores Public Library many e-resources for you to use at home or in the library. Please note that many of them require a valid Temiskaming Shores Public Library card to sign in, and a few may only be used in the library.

 Reading e-Resources

NoveList Plus allows you to learn more about titles and search for books or authors similar to ones you enjoy! You can also search for books based on your mood. A valid library card is required.

NoveList Plus K-8 allows children to learn more about titles and search for books or authors similar to ones they enjoy! A valid library card is required.

 Libby by Overdrive provides access to thousands of e-books, audiobooks, and digital magazines for all ages on your computer, e-reader, and electronic devices. Loan times are two weeks and titles are returned automatically. A valid library card is required to register.

Children's e-Resources

 Tumblebook Library for Kids has hundreds of books for children to read along with on your computer or download the app on your electronic device! Books are offered in English and French, choose your language in the top right corner. A valid library card is required.

PebbleGo is a fun website where children learn about animals, science, and health. Children can read the articles themselves or have the computer read them. A valid library card is required to use the website outside of the library.

Little Pim from Mango Languages is a language teaching method designed just for children. The short 5-minute videos hold their focus so they can begin their language learning journey on their own.  Child-friendly themes of colors, shapes, counting, and foods make it relatable. Hearing and repeating the 360 foundational words and phrases with Little Pim (who’s voiced by native speakers in each of the 12 languages) helps them recall, reproduce, and apply the new sounds. And kids love the playful panda, so their first association with language learning is fun.  A valid library card is required to use this resource.
