The City of Temiskaming Shores is currently seeking a motivated, team-oriented, and skilled individual to join our team as an Equipment Operator within the Public Works department.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper Accounts Receivables.
• Follow up regularly on receivable accounts, in accordance with relevant internal policy.
• Process and balance all tax payments, accounts receivables, and general receipts.
• Prepare bank deposits as required.
• Maintain efficient communication with suppliers, and relevant departments regarding invoicing errors, omissions and outstanding accounts.
• Respond professionally and promptly to public enquiries, complaints, requests, and concerns regarding taxation and other related concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service and front desk reception as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Succesful completion of a College Diploma in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or related field.
• Experience in accounts receivables and/or debt collection is preferred.
• Bilingualism is considered and asset.
• Proficient computer skills particularly with MS software.
• Accurate data entry skills with keen attention to detail.
