    A statutory public hearing for zoning amendment applications ZBA-2026-003 and ZBA-2026-004 will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
    The applications propose rezoning properties at 203 Roland Road and Plan M79NB Lot 269 to 276 PCL 9237 SST to Low Density Residential (R2). Additional information is available through the Community Development Department.

    Open-air fires are now permitted and burning permits are now available.
  • Water Service Disruptions and Road Closures on Paget Street North and Dymond Street – July 15

    Wednesday, July 15 – Paget Street North: Water service will be disrupted from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Paget Street North will be closed from Whitewood Avenue to Spruce Avenue between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

    Wednesday, July 15 – Dymond Street: Water service will be disrupted from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dymond Street will be closed from Mary Street to Paget Street North between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

    Local traffic only will be permitted on Paget Street North from Dymond Street to Spruce Avenue. The disruptions are required for water service repairs.

    The privately owned area located off Sydenham Road, overlooking Wabi Bay and Lake Timiskaming, is no longer accessible to the public.
    Public access is not permitted. Signage and barriers will be installed, and incidents of trespassing, vandalism or suspicious activity should continue to be reported to the Ontario Provincial Police.

    Solid Waste Holiday Schedule
    Canada Day Solid Waste Collection and Landfill Update
    Regular curbside collection will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for Canada Day.
    There will be no collection on Friday, July 3, 2026, with collection moved to Monday, July 6, 2026. The New Liskeard Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
