    A statutory public hearing for zoning amendment applications ZBA-2026-003 and ZBA-2026-004 will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
    The applications propose rezoning properties at 203 Roland Road and Plan M79NB Lot 269 to 276 PCL 9237 SST to Low Density Residential (R2). Additional information is available through the Community Development Department.

    Potential Disposition of Municipal Land at Barr Avenue
    Council is considering the disposition of approximately 6–8 acres of municipal land for the purpose of developing a future 128-bed long-term care home.
    The public meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Council Chambers at 325 Farr Drive. Written comments and registrations to speak must be received by 12:00 noon that day.
  • Planned Service Disruption at the Spurline Building – August 5, 2026

    Service Disruption Notice

    City staff will be replacing the water line servicing the Spurline Building on Wednesday, August 5, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The building’s washrooms and concession will be closed. The Rotary Splash Pad will remain open but may experience intermittent service disruptions, and the parking lot will remain accessible.

    The municipal fire ban is no longer in effect in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
    Open-air fires are now permitted and burning permits are now available.

    Wednesday, July 15 – Paget Street North: Water service will be disrupted from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Paget Street North will be closed from Whitewood Avenue to Spruce Avenue between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

    Wednesday, July 15 – Dymond Street: Water service will be disrupted from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dymond Street will be closed from Mary Street to Paget Street North between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

    Local traffic only will be permitted on Paget Street North from Dymond Street to Spruce Avenue. The disruptions are required for water service repairs.
