    The City of Temiskaming Shores has been awarded the M.G. Griffiths Cup by the Lifesaving Society Ontario for 2025.
    Temiskaming Shores earned first place with 4,215 points, recognizing the continued growth and success of the City’s aquatics and lifesaving programming.

    The City of Temiskaming Shores together with Cinnamon Toast Media Inc. is working on a new brand identity for the City and is seeking public feedback.
    The survey will be open from June 12 to June 30, 2026, with confidential responses accepted in both English and French.
  • Municipal Fire Ban - June 3, 2026 - Temiskaming Shores

    Municipal Fire Ban Implemented
    The City of Temiskaming Shores and the Township of Harris have implemented fire bans due to the extreme forest fire danger rating in the area.
    All burning permits are suspended and all open-air fires are prohibited, including fires for cooking and warmth. Residents must make alternate provisions during this period.

    The session will take place on Wednesday, June 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Riverside Place, where residents can learn more about the project and ask questions.

    The City of Temiskaming Shores is advising residents and visitors of the 2026 opening dates for the Haileybury and New Liskeard marinas.
