Potential Disposition of Municipal Land
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with City of Temiskaming Shores Land Disposal Policy By-law No. 2015-160, that the Council of the City of Temiskaming Shores is considering the disposition of municipal lands in accordance with the City's Land Disposal Policy.
Subject Property
Location: Southeast corner of Barr Avenue and the unopened road allowance of Sumbler Crescent.
Legal Description: A portion of DYMOND CON 1 PT LOT 7 AND RP 54R1829 PART 3, RP 54R2149 PART 1, RP 54R2876 PARTS 3, 6–8, RP 54R3253 PART 1, PCL 2184T.
Proposed Disposition
Approximately 6–8 acres of land are required for the purpose of developing a future 128-bed long-term care home.
Public Meeting
Any person may attend the public meeting or provide written comments prior to the meeting. Members of the public may provide input by contacting the Municipal Clerk in one of the following ways:
- Written Comments: Written comments must be received by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
- Register to Speak: Individuals wishing to speak before Council must register prior to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
