A black male young adult dog was found on Friday, June 26th at 12:00pm in the area of King St. North Cobalt and is currently being cared for at the City Animal Pound. The dog is friendly, has a collar, and does not have a microchip.

Municipal Fire Ban Implemented

The City of Temiskaming Shores and the Township of Harris have implemented fire bans due to the extreme forest fire danger rating in the area.

All burning permits are suspended and all open-air fires are prohibited, including fires for cooking and warmth. Residents must make alternate provisions during this period.
