Notice of Public Meeting - Potential Disposition of Municipal Land

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with By-law No. 2015-160, that Council of the City of Temiskaming Shores will consider the potential disposition of municipally owned land located on Cobalt Avenue, described as Part of the North Half of Lot 13, Concession 2, Township of Bucke; Parcel 7918 SST (approximately 10.03 acres). Final legal description to be
confirmed by reference plan.

A Public Meeting will be held to receive input on the proposed disposition. Any person may attend the meeting and/or provide written comments in advance.

Proponent / Purpose:

The current leaseholder, Temiskaming Native Women’s Support Group, is seeking permanent use of the property for long-term planning and stability for traditional gatherings, cultural practices, and educational programming.
