Notice of Public Meeting - Potential Transfer of Municipal Land

Portion of BUCKE CON 3 PT LOT 13 PCL 12940 SST (i.e. vacant land on Meridian Avenue – 5418-030-006-11700)

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with By-law No. 2015-160, that City Council is considering the transfer of a portion of vacant land located on Meridian Avenue, described as BUCKE CON 3 PT LOT 13 PCL 12940 SST (5418-030-006-11700), outlined below and shown in the key map.

A Public Meeting will be held to receive input on the proposed transfer. Any person may attend the meeting and/or provide written comments in advance.

The Public Meeting will be held:
Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026
Time: The Public Meeting will take place during the Regular Council Meeting, following the Committee of the Whole Meeting scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
Location: 325 Farr Drive, Council Chambers

• Submit Written Comments: Send written comments to the Clerk prior to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025
• Register to Speak at the Meeting: To address Council, please register with the Clerk prior to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Proponent / Purpose:

The Pavilion Women’s Centre has submitted a request for the transfer of ownership of a portion of vacant land on Meridian Avenue, to support the development of a second-stage transitional housing project.
