Notice to Businesses: Curbside Recycling Collection Update (ICI)

To support the business community, during the 2026 budget deliberation process, Council for the City of Temiskaming Shores has approved funds to cover curbside recycling collection costs for the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sectors commencing January 1, 2026.

Requirements within the City’s Solid Waste Management By-law (No. 2015-128) will apply including the implementation of an annual Solid Waste Fee per bin assigned which will be applied through the tax billing process.

Collection Details

Dedicated Route & Schedule
  • Collection Day: Thursdays
  • Frequency: Bi-weekly
  • First Collection: Thursday, January 15, 2026
  • Set-out Time: Place recycling bins at the curb the night before
  • Collection Starts: 4:00 a.m. on collection day
