Sydenham Road Lookout Closure
Please be advised that the area located off Sydenham Road in the City of Temiskaming Shores, overlooking Wabi Bay and Lake Timiskaming, is no longer accessible to the public.
The area is privately owned property and is not a municipally authorized public lookout or designated recreational space.
Closure Measures
As part of this closure:
- “No Trespassing” signage will be installed on the property.
- Concrete barriers will be placed at the entrance to prevent vehicle access, as required.
- The City will remove the garbage receptacle from the site.
- Routine maintenance activities at the location will cease.
Public Safety and Reporting
The City encourages everyone to respect the closure and continue reporting incidents of trespassing, vandalism or suspicious activity to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The City of Temiskaming Shores appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as these measures are implemented to protect private property, support public safety and address ongoing concerns at the site.
