Public Works Update #2 – Rural Road Closures

Status: All country and rural roads closed
Area Affected: Municipality-wide rural and country roads
Reason: Heavy snowfall and blowing winds
Due to the significant amount of snow and strong blowing winds, all country and rural roads within the Municipality are currently closed and impassable.
Public Works Operations has deployed all available graders and snowblowers to assist with snow removal efforts as conditions allow.
- Please avoid all country and rural roads until further notice.
- Travel on these roads poses a safety risk to residents and crews.
Thank you for your cooperation as crews continue to work under challenging conditions.
