The existing generator at the Dymond Water Reservoir is original to construction and requires replacement. Through this procurement, the City is seeking quotations for the complete supply and installation of a 300 KW, 347/600 V, 3 phase generator to be located outside the building at the Dymond Reservoir on Raymond Street in Temiskaming Shores.

Project Overview

This quotation opportunity is for a turnkey diesel generator replacement project at the Dymond Water Reservoir. The new system will replace the existing original generator and be installed outside the building to support reservoir operations.

Scope of Work Highlights

• Supply and installation of a 300 KW, 347/600 V, 3 phase generator
• Generator to include a silent enclosure and Tier 3 diesel engine
• Supply and installation of a 670 USG double wall subbase fuel tank
• Outside pad preparation
• Complete electrical connection

Evaluation Overview

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations. The lowest priced quotation will not necessarily be accepted.

• The City may request clarification or supplementary information
• The City may enter into negotiations with a proponent
• The City may confirm information with references or third parties
• Quotations must remain valid for 30 days from submission date

Important Notes / Compliance

• All portions of the quotation form must be accurately and completely filled out and signed
• Any alterations or cross-outs must be initialed in ink
• Line items and total contract price must be clearly indicated
• Pricing shall exclude Harmonized Sales Tax, which will be considered extra
• The bidder must comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA)
• Any proprietary or confidential information in the quotation should be clearly identified
• The successful proponent must discharge liabilities for labour, materials, services, subcontractors, and products used in the work
• The City may issue addenda prior to closing if changes are required
