The damaged wall in the lower level of the Temiskaming Shores Public Library is set to be repaired starting on Monday, June 23, 2025. The parking area in front of the damaged section will be blocked off for the duration of the repairs. As well, the Fiction section in the lower level will be inaccessible to the public for a period of time.

If you know what you are looking for, we are hoping that library staff can collect the books you would like. Inquire at the Circulation Desk on the lower level and a staff member will be happy to retrieve the books you would like as long as it is safe to do so.

We are hoping this inconvenience will be short-lived and that we will have reinstated access to the fiction collection and replaced all of the books back on their shelves by the end of the week of July 7.

In the meantime, the satellite collection at the Northern College Library is open for browsing, from Monday to Friday, from 8:30-4:30. As well, our digital library collection on the Libby app is open 24/7 as always!
