Temporary Haul Road

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) will be working on the Matabitchuan Generating Station redevelopment project. Construction for this project is scheduled to take place over the course of three years.

Quarry Road South has been identified as a temporary haul road during this project. During scheduled timelines heavy vehicle traffic is expected to increase on Quarry Road South.

Railway Crossing Upgrades

Ontario Northland has scheduled infrastructure enhancement projects to take place during the 2025 Construction Season. The planned work includes railway crossing upgrades.

Traffic delays resulting from construction are expected to be minor. Ontario Northland contractors will provide traffic control, if required.
