    The City of Temiskaming Shores is advising residents and visitors of the 2026 opening dates for the Haileybury and New Liskeard marinas.
    Haileybury Marina opens Friday, May 15, 2026, and New Liskeard Marina opens Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Learn more and register at temiskamingshores.ca/recreation-and-culture/marinas/.

    Recreation Department Seasonal Operations Update – Spring 2026
    The City is providing an update on seasonal facility openings and maintenance due to weather conditions and a late spring.
    Splash pad and spray zone openings are delayed until May 29, 2026, while STATO Trail work is expected to be completed by May 22, 2026. Outdoor washrooms will open by May 11, and sport courts and playgrounds are now open.

    A Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 during the Committee of the Whole Meeting scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 325 Farr Drive.

    Notice of Nomination for Office - School Board Trustees
    Nominations for School Board Trustee offices for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections may be filed beginning May 1, 2026.
    Nomination papers must be filed by appointment with the appropriate Returning Officer by August 20, 2026, or on Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with a $100 filing fee.

    Nomination forms must be filed with the Returning Officer during normal office hours from the first business day of May in 2026 to August 20, 2026, or on Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

    The City of Temiskaming Shores is now accepting marina slip registrations for the upcoming boating season.
    Returning boaters’ previous season slips will be reserved until May 11, 2026. Registration packages and more information are available on the City’s marina webpage.
